Settlements in MD and PA

We pride ourselves on preparing and conducting your closings smoothly and efficiently. Excalibur Title & Escrow maintains two offices for your convenience, but, occasionally it is not possible for all parties to be present for closing. Excalibur Title & Escrow therefore provides powers of attorney through our closing attorney, and off-site closings at locations mutually convenient to all parties to the transaction.

Offices and Off-site Services

Excalibur Title and Escrow is committed to providing excellent customer service. An important element of customer service is ensuring that the closing is a convenient and pleasant experience. In order to achieve that convenience for your client, we offer off-site closing services and our settlement agents will close your transaction whereever you need us. We provide the same level of care and professionalism closing at our office, the borrower's home or place of employment, or at their realtor's or lender's office.

Excalibur maintains two offices in Frederick and Hagerstown which allows us to more easily serve your client's needs whether they are located in central or western Maryland.

Powers of Attorney

In those circumstances where an individual who is needed to sign documents at closing cannot be present or is otherwise unable to sign, for your convenience our closing attorney can prepare a Power of Attorney for a nominal fee.

Title Insurance

When financing a property Lenders typically require a lender's title insurance policy to ensure that their security interest in the property is secure. The lender's title insurance policy only protects the lender's interest, but Excalibur Title and Escrow also offers an owners title insurance policy to protect the borrower as well.
